Twenty Alabama postal workers were sent to the hospital after a noxious yellow chemical used to make fishing lures leaked from a package.
Police said six of the workers at the Hueytown facility had breathing problems and more than a dozen others were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Police Chief Doug McBee said the liquid was so concentrated it damaged the tile floor when it spilled and the small post office west of Birmingham was evacuated.
There is no further information, or follow up or speculation as to the exact nature of the chemical. Story via ABC News 10 Alabama.
