How to Remove a Fishing Hook From You Skin
Just about every fisherman knows first hand how sharp hooks can be. On several occasions I have hooks burried in my fingers and hands, luckily they were always smaller hooks that were easily removed. I remember seeing Mr. Bill Dance hook himself pretty badly on his show several years ago and he used a pretty interesting procedure called the string yank technique.
The American Academy of Family Physicians has put together a great article that illustrates several methods (including the string yank)that you can use to remove barbed hooks from your skin. This is a must read for and fisherman!
