About that world record pike, I'm not fisherman, I am photographer and I have to say that black and white photo is fake. If you look it carefully, you see that the hands and the fish doesn't belong in that photo at all. His hands would be enormous, his palm would be much wider than his face and that is more rare than record pikes that size. Furthermore, if you look that photo and imagine the length of those arms, he would be able to scratch his ankle while standing straight. Some kind of man/orangutan and that also would be bigger news than that fish. What we are facing here is last remains of propaganda from east Germany, or some kind of April fools day- photo taken too seriously.

I caught an 80lbs Pike whilst fishing on my rubber dingy. I didn't have enough line to play the fish properly and each time my line was all out, the fish took me water skiing up and down the lake.Took me 2 nights and a day to land! I was so hungry the final morning that I cooked and ate the fish on my portable BBQ for breakfast with the last little bit of energy I had left.
