It’s a further distance than from here to Nova Scotia. When I came home from my prenatal yoga last night, to an empty house, I’ll admit I had a short self-pitying cry. I hate it when I have to spend days at a time by myself. I hate our empty house. And of course, I worry. I worry that something’s going to happen to him, like a car accident- falling asleep at the wheel, hitting a deer, whatever. I always worry, but now that I’m pregnant, I worry even more.
