World Record Rainbow Trout

This is a beast of a record. Looks like this trout has been feeding on walleye and pike…and beavers.

The current world record rainbow trout was caught by Canadian Adam Konrad and weighed 43.6 pounds (21 kg). Caught in Lake Diefenbaker (Saskatchewan, Canada) in June of 2007. Incredibly, this fish was 38.75 inches in length and had a girth of 34 inches.
