This is potential VERY bade news for any fisherman. Giant snakehead are known for eating just about anything and is incredibly resilient, surviving not only in water, but on land where it is able to ‘crawl’ around. When kept as pets, these fish have been known to escape their tanks and attack other pets. Giant snakehead can grow up to three feet long, and apparently have been known to also attack and kill humans. These fish are native to South-East Asia but have somehow made it into the waters of North America, and now Britain. Because of the great damage they can cause to other fish species, it is recommended that you kill these fish if you should catch one outside of its native waters.
