Georgia Here I Come!

I’ll be getting on a plane to August Georgia first thing Sunday morning and I can’t wait! Even though the weather here in Nova Scotia is pretty warm, I’m looking forward to the much hotter climate of the south. Gillian and Ash will be joining me, and hopefully we have time to explore after training. There is some great bass fishing in Georgia, and I’ll be taking a fish full of Rockstar Lures, and whatever fishing rods can fit in my luggage. Sadly this means my favorite 1 piece rods will be left behind. I had a travel case for my rods, but sadly it hasn’t made its way to Nova Scotia yet.

We have no plans set in stone, but there’s no way I’m visiting Georgia without a trip to Bass Pro Shops and Georgia Aquarium!

I’m not certain how much internet access I will have, but I will do my best to keep the site updates coming. If you live near Augusta and are looking for a fishing partner or two, lemme know!

Beginners Luck; Gracefully Out-Fished by a Novice

The alarm goes off, it's 4:20 am October 5th, 2005. I made sure to find out how much time they needed to get ready since I'm generally awake and out the door in 5 minutes. To my surprise everyone was sticking to the plan, I thought for sure I would lose at least one of them since there are only two chairs in the panga, but they were both awake and ready in no time. When we arrived at Fishermen's Fleet we headed upstairs for some coffee and breakfast. Upstairs was the largest group I've seen, in total it would take four huge vans to shuttle us to La Ventana.
