Fish Not Here
I’ve spent a few hours fishing a local lake here in Georgia called Lake Olmstead. My low budget rod is performing better then expected, but I haven’t really put it to the test since I haven’t landed a fish. I had a strike on a top water lure, but other then that things have been very slow. There are plenty of other fishermen on the lake, and I haven’t seen any of them get a fish either. I got out at 5am a couple days ago and saw lots of fish jumping as the sun was rising, but nothing was interested in any of my lures.
I found a message carved into a bench stating that there were no fish in the lake, and took it as a challenge rather then advice.
