The Largest Eyes In The World

I always figured elephants had the largest eyes in the world, but apparently squid do. Below are the lenses taken from the eyes of a colossal squid on April 30, 2008.

    The giant sea creature, caught last year off Antarctica, is believed to be the biggest squid ever captured, and scientists have determined that it has the largest eyes of any known animal.

    I know the biggest whales only have tiny eyes but you’d have thought they’d still be a contender for that title…..Anyway my eyes are gonna beat that when i actually catch something decent again!

    Wow,those are some big eyes and when I say BIG well….I mean HUGE! I thought they were crystal’s ha that’s how big they were!!! :}
