Again, a fantastic product. I was out after smallies yesterday and found a whole bunch of other people’s discarded line laying about.

Hello all fellow anglers,
Just wanted to let everyone know that we are successfully using Bioline to catch nice fish and even a few of those rock fish that take your lures and line. I am impressed with the strength and durability of Bioline Biofilament. Try it for leaders as well as your mainline!!! If we all just use even one spool.. it will make a differance. I also want to mention 20 lb and 3 lb are being produced as we speak. Now you have great line for saltwater angling as well.

I hope to use it for flyline tippet shortly. I do great in my home waters taking winter smallies on the fly! Till LAter..

Hey guys,

I’ve been using Bioline on my trout fishing setup and I hardly notice the difference. I’ll never go back to monofilament.

You can get it at http://www.greentackle.com/fishing-line/biofilament-fishing-line.html

From The Table of Adam Guy – “Madako”, Japanese Octopus

To catch such octopus, one employs a special tackle comprising a hooked, weighted wooden board about eight inches in length, to which a crab is tied, upside-down. Octopi apparently have a great weakness for crab, particularly those with their vulnerable underbelly exposed to attack. The baited device is lowered into the water using a thick nylon/polyester line, and then jigged up-and-down by hand on the seafloor. Octopus usually feel the bait with their tentacles before launching themselves onto it, and this can be felt in one's hands as a sort of 'sticking' feeling.
