Rogue Angels

We at Fishing Fury have always been advocates of getting girls into fishing. For some strange reason, fishing has been seen as a mans sport, but anyone and everyone can (and should!) enjoy fishing. I stumbled across this great girls fishing site while reading SwittersB’s blog this morning. It’s always great to see girls catching big fish!

I agree with the women thing, after having to sit and look at my ugly mates all day when i’m fishing, a woman would be much better, not so smelly either!…I’ve just had a quick look at the site…That picture with the bears on the shore right in front of where they were fishing looks wicked…Are there bears in Halifax or is it too built up?…I want to see bears while i’m fishing now!

lol, we have bears in Nova Scotia, I haven’t seen any in Halifax though. You’d probably have to travel outside of the city a good ways!

Cilve doesn’t know a bear from a rottweiler! Trust me. :D

Having spent more time in the last 2 seasons fishing with a girl, I can tell you firsthand that it’s a lot more fun looking at her than any of my buds!
Not only that, but she outfishes me 75% of the time!

I’ve always suspected that Jon, i just never wanted to say anything!…Oh well, wild Rottweilers it is then!

Re: Frog Versus Sparrow: Frog wins...Seriously

Nature at it's best. I've never seen this before but after seeing......I BELIEVE. Kinda feel sorry for the sparrow but I guess it's survival of the fittest

Re: Explosive Fishing Techniques

ok how can anybody ever think that dynamite fishing and cyanide fishing is morally right?? i just want to go and yell in their faces and make them feel so dang guilty because you guys are harming more than the killing of fish you are harming the ecosystem!! and its only kiling the earth even faster so when the world is coming to an end then i am going to go right up to you guys and just say now how do you feel being responsible for the end of the earth and the death of thousands thank you!

I have a friend whose cottage is on Lake Chemong, never fished in it although I've heard all the stories. I was walking in it this weekend past, paddled it too, with Alexander directing.....check out the Curve Lake Powwow sometime!!!! I worked so hard this weekend, the shirt fell right offen me, so I need that shirt more than ANYONE else! Love your site!

Re: Stormy Kromer Hat Contest!

I'm not much for a pithy comment, but I thought I'd leave a note about how honored I be to wear Kromer on my upcoming annual pheasant hunting trip to South Dakota. I'm sure that my hunting buddies will joke about how silly I look while they wear their stylized broad brim hunting caps, but I'll be laughing on the inside as my head stays nice and warm. I'll be laughing al the more when the stiff South Dakota wind picks up and Kromer is staying put. Finally, with the fall bite on, I know my new Kromer will call the [...]
