It’s a Regaleco, actualy the longer bony fish living.

Mauricio on December 28th, 2008 @ 5:44 pm

It’s a Dragon Fish, not! It’s pretty ugly though.

Oarfish is indeed correct.
According to wikipedia:
Oarfish are large, greatly elongated, pelagic Lampriform fish comprising the small family Regalecidae. Found in all temperate to tropical oceans yet rarely seen, the oarfish family contains four species in two genera. One of these, the king of herrings (Regalecus glesne), is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest bony fish alive, at up to 11 metres (36 ft) in length.

Jack Lake Fishing Report, August 21-22 2004

We headed directly to the spot we planned to fish. Prior visits to this location had led us to believe muskie could be located here. We cut the motor a hundred yards away.
