Theme Updates
I have just activated the new WhiteFury 2.0 theme for our site. The general style was taken from the previous theme but I’ve changed the sidebar and the blueprint css grid framework handles the columns. Creating this theme was surprisingly quick, even if I did have a lot of the work already done for me in the previous theme. I’m really impressed with the grid framework, and I may come up with a theme update for our gallery.
While I’ve tested this in most of the browsers I have available to me there could still be a few bugs in the theme. There is one that I’m already aware of and I’m still looking for a solution. Basically our content column width has decreased so I had to keep images from overflowing on to the sidebar, I did this with max-width in CSS and a quick expression to deal with IE users. Trouble is that now some of the images are disproportional, I’m sure I’ll figure out some way to get beat everything back in to place. If you have any ideas feel free to let me know.
Other than that we have a few cool features that you’ll start seeing as we break in our new theme.
