The Glass Lure
When I was younger, I used to collect just about anything. Everything from hockey cards, to bottle caps to fishing lures. I still collect fishing lures, but I cant say I really have anything of value. A few antique reels and lures, nothing special, nothing rare. Here’s an extremely rare glass lure, that finished production in 1931. What sets this apart from most other lures is that it allowed you to keep a minnow within a glass shield, preventing wear and tear to your minnow.
This particular lure would have sold for $1.25 back when it was made, but recently it sold for over $600 on ebay!
