While I can't vouch for every crazy bugger who wants to catch muskie on the fly, in this case I know the fisher in question,Nick Pujic, very well.He told me this muskie was in the net in under 3 minutes. Nowadays with the advancements in fly tackle whether it be for tarpon, marlin or muskie there's no reason why you can't use stout tackle like a 10wt or 12wt fly-rod to get these fish to the net as quickly as possible.
