From conservatives who plain just can't step outside their mental boundaries to people that are straight up jealous that their favorite fisherman doesn't have that much personality. We call these individuals "haters" and they are in all sports. But what they forget is that every blog, forum post, article, and conversation that they have make this person stronger and more popular. Remember bad publicity is still publicity. Mike gets a bad rap. It looks like your typical 10-12 pound mono, very easy to break if it gets caught on something. That said nothing is more priceless than the look on his face. Sheer determination. I know mike gets a bad rap but personally everything I've seen or read about him only make me like him more.
