Beware Of Flying Carp

We’ve seen a few videos of these Asian carp in action, but never heard of them breaking jaws!

“Jodi had just fired at a fish when a second fish, about 12 pounds came out of the water to her right and struck her in the side of the face. Her initial reaction was “I’m hurt”. She was immediately taken to the doctor that told her, her jaw was broken. The prognosis is good, but the price is going to be 6 weeks of having her jaw wired shut. “

Ouch! I’ve had a fish rip my thumb to the bone, but I still had use of my hand. I can’t imagine 6 weeks of my jaw wired shut. Somebody get this girl a fishing fury t-shirt quick.. Oh wait that would be me!

Crikey! 12lbs is the same weight as a sledge hammer! That’d put me out for the count!
