Before you go ahead and click the images below, be warned, its pretty nasty! However, this disease is fairly common and can effect multiple species of fish. This particular case is the worst I have seen to date.

We survived. No damage to our place, but a few house nearby got hit by falling branches and trees!

Here in Japan it is called ippon-tsuri. Scheduled to have a go myself last year but the trip was cancelled due to bad weather; hopefully I can go this autumn!
