NEW SPRO BBZ1 “Junior” 6-inch Swimbait

2010 may go down as the year of the swimbait. Several manufacturers have lined up their best engineers and designed some of the most beautiful lures I’ve ever seen, and many have started scaling them down to the key 4″-6″ range as well. One such lure that I’m looking forward to trying this season is the SPRO BBZ1 Jr. a 6″ version of the SPRO BBZ1.

Incredible movement. I think the test will be spring pike with one of these. I forsee some GATORS getting hooked.

I don’t know, I sure like the way hard swimbaits look in the water but throwing something that costs $25-$50 and is covered in treble hooks out into the great unknown is a little too risky for a non-professional fisherman like me.

spro makes the best hardbodied swimbaits out there. i fish floridas west coast for snook tarpon redfish etc and i use them all EXCEPT THE SUPER TINY ONE!!!(i bought a box(6) of 4 different colors and you gotta workem so fast to make the tails swim a mako shark would waste the calories) the 8″BBZ is sick in saltwater for trolling or mimmicking a big mullet or ladyfish for that monster snook. the 4″ shad is unreal whitebait (greenback) mimmick for all saltwater species. and this 6″ has now met the use of in between! the baits are indestructible. and the swimbait rod i built makes me not lose the lures….i straighten the hooks out before i bust off!!!!
