That’s right, here is your chance to win a free ZipCut Pro rod mounted line cutter!

The comments on our blog have really picked up over the past few months and it’s always great to see new people finding our site. However we’ve noticed in most of the comment threads that Clive and I are the only ones with avatars! Well get your jpg’s out because this contest is an AVATAR SHOWDOWN!

How does this avatar showdown contest work? Well for this contest all you’ve got to do is register for an account if you haven’t already, then visit your profile page and upload an avatar. Once you’ve done that, come back here and tell us why you deserve a free ZipCut Pro. That’s it!

Remember to have fun and please no NSFW stuff. The contest winner will be chosen on Friday, July 30th.

    I fish almost every day, and I use high test braid on my casting setup, I’ve dulled many scissors and knives, and cigarette lighters only work with no wind! I’d buy one of those fancy schmancy superheating superline cutters, but i’m broke because of Connecticut’s $40 fishing licenses-and that’s freshwater only (I like to be legal)! Also my birthday is coming up on the 10th of August, and since I don’t think I’ll be receiving the bass boat I asked for, I’ll need something to impress my fishing buddies!

    I should have the Zipcut Pro simply because i haven’t got one…I would also like some cool Fishing shades as well because I haven’t got any of those either!

    I think I need this because…..welll I have no thumbs….. Have you ever tried to cut a line with no thumbs? Well neither have I but I imagine it would be a lot easier with the Zipcut pro… lol

    Would love to try these out on our Manitoba trip on August 14th-August 21st. Reason that I deserve it, well it is something I’ll use and post pictures of our catches. Also would love to still get some FF stickers, have some tackle and cigar boxes that could use some FF on it.

    I’d love to get one of these.  I use braided line all the time and often fish with younger kids.  The ZipCut Pro would be a great addition to my tackle box when fishing with the my kids or my cub pack so they didn’t have to bother me for my knife.
