About Us

What is Fishing Fury?
Fishing Fury is a group of friends with an overwhelming passion for the sport of fishing, the great outdoors, crazy adventures, exploration of the world around us and doing what makes us happy. Our eventual goal is to one day have a TV show where we take you the viewer along to experience fishing and the great outdoors as we do, introducing you to interesting and unexpected topics, people, and circumstances.

Who is Fishing Fury?
The masterminds behind Fishing Fury, also known as Team Fury, are Jonathon Marshall and Clive Mathias. Both bring entirely different perspectives and styles to the sport of fishing, but together they have an uncanny ability for finding and catching fish.

The fury is the intense rush of excitement and enthusiasm you feel when doing something you love, despite what anyone else may think or feel about it. Many people experience this feeling many different ways it can be anything from video games to skydiving, its different for everyone. The use of fury is in the spirit of exhilaration and not destruction…Well, not always.

Beginners Luck; Gracefully Out-Fished by a Novice

The alarm goes off, it's 4:20 am October 5th, 2005. I made sure to find out how much time they needed to get ready since I'm generally awake and out the door in 5 minutes. To my surprise everyone was sticking to the plan, I thought for sure I would lose at least one of them since there are only two chairs in the panga, but they were both awake and ready in no time. When we arrived at Fishermen's Fleet we headed upstairs for some coffee and breakfast. Upstairs was the largest group I've seen, in total it would take four huge vans to shuttle us to La Ventana.
