The Pittsburgh Penguins pulled off a stunning win against the Detroit Red Wings last night and I gotta say I am pretty surprised! I was certain Detroit would win the cup again, but it looks like the young Penguins team taught the veterans a lesson tonight. It really didn’t matter to me who won, both teams have Canadians, but seeing as that I am now a Nova Scotian, its good to know the cup will be close to home. For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, I’m talking about NHL hockey. Canada’s top player, Sidney Crosby grew up just down the street from where I currently live, and while he isn’t my favorite player, you cant deny his incredible skill – not to mention the lad is only 21! Congrats Pens!

You would think that fishing for rare and endangered species of fish would be a really bad idea, but in Thailand its a great idea! What started as one mans hobby as turned into a lucrative business. A lake stocked with rare and exotic fish offers visiting fishermen the change to catch rare species of fish without having to remove them from their natural habitat. Lake Monster is one of the few places in the world where anglers have a good chance of catching species such as the dog eating catfish without damaging wild populations. The one rule, every fish must be released.
