Now here’s something you don’t see every day, a rap battle about the best type of camping! I’m all for minimalist camping, but ever since my sons were born I’ve really learned to really appreciate glam-ping. It certainly doesn’t hurt that my girlfriend works at MEC and we have access to incredible camping gear!

A couple of months ago, I was asked to do a quick interview for a show on the World Fishing Network called World Fishing Journal. Naturally, I jumped at the opportunity to represent our site and talk about social media and the fishing world. A lot of the interview didn’t make the final cut but I had a great time being on camera and I got to include my youngest son Reno. As I get older, each year seems to fly by faster than the last. This year has been a very memorable one for me with the addition of a new son and a new set of wheels. I’m looking forward to a lot of adventures this year, and hopefully some big fish too. We wish you all the best in 2015!
