Meet Comet. He may look like a common gold fish, and well, he is. More importantly though, Comet is also the smartest fish in the world. Why is Comet the smartest fish? Because he went to Fish School of course!
I have always wanted to teach my fish to play soccer. Finally my prayers have been answered.
Check out Comet on his steamy live fishcam!

“In Wu Han China, people have been purchasing tattooed fish. Customers can chose from many different Chinese characters such as “Wealth, Dragon, Longevity, Happiness…”
“These tropical fish have been very popular as people buy them for Fengshui and they are supposed to bring you good luck.”

Lucky the Comet Goldfish underwent a surgical procedure to remove 6 unsightly, but benign, tumors that had grown over his scales. It’s not uncommon for goldfish over the age of 10 to develop tumors according to the vets. The surgery took about 35 minutes and would have costed nearly $150, but was done for free because the operations were performed in front of aquarium staff and veterinary science students to help educate them on health and diseases among fish.
“Goldfish can live until they’re 20 years old and owners become attached to them just like any other pet,” he said.
“It isn’t uncommon for people to seek vet treatment for their fish.”
The cosmetic procedure is so popular that Dr Greenwood performs up to 60 operations each year to fix aesthetic flaws on pet fish in Victoria and NSW.
“Performing operations in front of aquarium staff and veterinary science students helps to educate them about potential health problems and diseases of fish,” Dr Greenwood said.
Of course this entry wouldn’t be complete without some safe, but scary plastic surgery pictures.
Among the many odd foods consumed during eating contests around the world are live goldfish. Many years ago Bill Kazmaier ate an all-time record 1000 fish which was four times his nearest competitor.
The live goldfish were swimming in large bowls in front of each of the competitors. On the start signal, he and the other competitors began. His competition would catch a fish one at a time and swallow it. Not Kaz. He would take the bowl and drink the water with the fish in it.
You may be thinking that the name Bill Kazmaier sounds familiar, well if you were ever a fan of strongman contests in 1980’s then you should be very familiar with his name. Kaz was not only a pro at eating goldfish, but is arguably one of the strongest men to ever walk the earth.

Re: Potential World Record Pike
Woody (5 hours, 10 minutes ago)Just when i thought the subject had finished, someone has brought it back up again, this has got to be the most talked about picture yet!...I bet the poor bloke who sent the pic in wishes he hadn't bothered!...Pike eh?...They're nothing but trouble!
Jody (7 hours, 36 minutes ago)The thing with this pike that I'm still having trouble with is not so much the three finger thing, but rather the girth of the fish. I've seen lots of pike up close and personal as well as photos of some monster pike but none had that type of girth. It would seem to me that if you compare the size of that pike relative to the man holding it that pike should weight 100 lbs because it's at least half the size of the guy. The fish's head is bigger than his and the rest of the [...]

Re: Get Girls Fishing! A How-To Guide for Men
Richard "Dick" K. (1 month, 1 week ago)I laughed, so true. It can be so much fun to take people out fishing. Ans I also find what you have written to hold very true for children as well. If kids are taken fishing, dont "make" them fish, dont make fun of them, be patient and let them develop their own reason for enjoying fishing. I have taken girlfriends, kids, brothers and friends fishing. Patience is the key in my opinion. There are more guys like him out there. Just check out any rivers edge, you'll see us.
