This young man has knocked a ton of game fish of his laundry list of species. Amazing work, I’d love to hear some of the stories behind those catches!
You may remember the last video we posted about the dangers of hand feeding pike, well here we go again!
I’m not a fan of the cold. In fact, the less clothes I can wear while fishing the better. My ideal fishing locations are in tropical climates, where I can feel the sand between my toes, and the sun on my back while making a cast.
For some weird reason, I feel very drawn to Alaska. Every time I see a photo or video of someone fishing in Alaska, I just want to pack up my bags and go. I bet a summer spent fishing in the great wilderness of Alaska would rival any other fishing trip on the planet.
There are a lot of changes happening in the world of Fishing Fury, both on and off the site. I just moved into a new apartment with my lovely wife and son this past weekend, and Jon found a new pad last month. You’ve probably already noticed the changes to the site, some slight font changes, the introduction of a new tag system, and new buttons that allow you to share Fishing Fury articles on sites like Facebook and digg. Jon is always hard at work trying to find ways to improve the site so if you have any ideas, wishes or praises to send his way, feel free to leave a comment below.
In other news, year end is fast approaching, which means we’ll be giving a prize to the top contributor to the site. If you have any photos from this year that you haven’t sent us already, send them to firstname.lastname@example.org. The person with the most submissions will receive three Rockstar Lures for free.
So far it’s hard to say who will win, but I’ll be updating out galleries with some recent submissions very soon.
Here are two photos Ken Reece (one of the winners of the Stormy Kromer contest) sent in of his darling daughter who will be sporting a pink Kromer this winter!
