New Fish Species Discovered

With the ocean as large as it is, I’m sure there are thousands of species we are yet to discover. This one is certainly unique.

Discovered in Indonesia in January, the species has forward-looking eyes like a human and crawls rather than swims.

Great Fishermen Need Great Beer

Another update on Lakemaid Beer…

I got my hands on a couple of the Lakemaid Beer posters for your viewing pleasure. The one on the right gives you a look at all of the lovely Lakemaids, although Miss Muskie is still my favorite be far.

The beer will make its first public taste-test at the Northwest Sports Show, April 2-6 at the Minneapolis Convention Center at the Rapala booth. It should be in stores by mid-April. Merchandise will be available on the website and at all Gander Mt stores.

Make sure you keep an eye out for these elusive beauties when you’re on the water this year!

I feel sorry for the girl who got named Miss Crappie.

Lakemaid Beer

Heres a Fishing Fury exclusive for all those beer loving fishermen out there, the introduction of Lakemaid Beer! A joint venture between Schell’s and Rapala. The official site will be launching tomorrow, but here is a sneak peak at the beautiful half woman half fish, lakemaids. Now lets hope the beer tastes as good as it looks!
