We’ve received emails from our fans suggesting that they would like to see a community forum setup for all those fishing maniacs out there. Well, it’s about time you got what you wished for, and no Christmas didn’t come early this year!
Go check out the new Fishing Fury Community Forums!
The board is a fresh install of phpBB and will certainly grow and change over time. However there is no reason why you cant start using it now and let us know how we can make it even better.
I look forward to sharing some great stories and photos with all of you in the near future.
Keep the Fury alive!
Someone was kind enough to nominate us for a Blogger Choice award! OK, OK, I nominated Fishing Fury myself, but with all the hard work Jon and I have put into this site it would be nice to get more then one vote! I think that we have the most active, and best fishing blog in the world, and If you agree, don’t forget to vote! (click the image below)

Jon and I have been working on updating all of our old fishing pictures on our gallery. There are almost 400 images available to view right now, and probably 400+ more to add. Stay tuned over the next few weeks as we get everything up to date. Click the images below to check out some of the latest additions!

I’ve updated our awesome fishing gallery!

Let me know what you think, or if you have any problems!
I stayed up late last night getting my lure website ready to launch. As many of you know, Jon is the one responsible for designing Fishingfury.com from scratch. I took the easy way out and started work on Rockstarlures.com using a pre-made template. I made several changes to tweak the page to suit my needs and style. It is NOT easy doing this web design stuff and I really gotta give props to Jon for making Fishing Fury look as great as it does.
Since spring is in the air, this is the perfect time to stock up on some lures. I’ll be adding new lures regularly and discount prices are available to anyone buying 5 or more lures. You can even request lures designs to meet your specific needs. Click the image below to view the new Rockstar Lures site!

I’ve been working very hard this past week to come up with a new theme for Fishing Fury, it would have been online a lot sooner but I’ve been stricken with a horrible flu the past few days. With this theme we thought maybe it would be a good time to try a white background and see how it works out, we may keep this same layout but change the background to black in the future depending on what our fans think.
I’ve integrated a number of cool features into this theme that I think will really set it apart from our previous themes and make your overall experience even better.
1. This theme should have much less rendering issues and has been heavily tested in IE 5.0, IE 5.5, IE 6.0, IE 7.0, Opera 9, Firefox 2, and Safari for windows (sorry, I don’t have a Mac to test).
2. Partner Feeds: There are a few sites that are related to Fishing Fury, like our personal blogs, Clive’s (up and coming) Rockstar Lure blog, and our favorite contributor Adam Guy’s new Japanese fishing blog (The Compleat Tsuribito). These are located at the bottom of the page.
3. Recent Comments/Most Commented: Also located at the bottom of the page, you can see which posts are being commented on right now and those with the most comments.
4. Gallery Feature: When browsing by category, or when viewing a single post, there is now a gallery feature insert at the top of the page. It will pull the categories out of the top most post on the page you’re viewing and use those categories to pull a random set of image from our new photo gallery (Catch The Fury).
Please comment and let us know what you think, we’d love to hear your input!
While FishingFury.com has been around for a few years now, we didn’t start aggressively updating until late 2007. The site has always had a steady growth since day one thanks to our loyal readers, but recent months have shown a big increase in traffic that coincides with the frequent updates (5-10 a week, if not more). We have now made over 500 posts contained in 55 pages of fishing news, reports, videos, photos and more. March set the bar high with our busiest month yet with nearly one million hits! I don’t believe any stat counter is 100% accurate, but I’m still thrilled with the growth our site has made. Even the Alexa.com statistics show how rapidly Fishing Fury has grown.
I think Fishing Fury may be the most popular fishing blog on the internet, and if it isn’t yet, it will be soon! I’d like to thank all of our loyal readers, and contributers - we couldn’t have done it without you!
Here are a couple stat charts that show our recent increase in traffic.
