Fishing Fury now on YouFish2.com!

That’s right we’ve uploaded some of our awesome videos to YouFish2.com! This also marks the change in music as the previously used songs are copyrighted and we’re trying to move away from that as we get more popular. I’ve managed to replace a few of the videos on Vimeo, however YouTube fails to allow users to re-upload videos. According to YouTube my only option is to delete the video and start again, loosing all my views, comments, ratings, etc.. YA RIGHT!

Well at least moving forward we can do the right thing. The music in these videos was provided by The Total Camble Experience.

I know you’ve probably seen these videos before, but it spent some extra hours up late getting the audio to match perfectly (or as perfectly as possible) with the video. So please, for the sake of all the sleep I lost, watch them!

More Awesome Fishing Videos

I’ll probably hold off on posting more videos for the next few days, the page seems to be getting cluttered with nothing but videos and I want to put the final polish on the video I have prepared from our 2005 footage in Mexico. I also have a ton of little clips and outtakes that should be hilarious to watch. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like there will be a 2006 video, Clive and I were both off doing our own thing and while it’s hard to put down your rod and film your partner, it’s even harder to film yourself. The good news is that we are planning to head back to Little Vermillion this spring and I have some great surprises along the way.

While you’ll still have to wait for the official Fishing Fury Mexico video you can find us in David Jones’ great Fishermen’s Fleet video.

And if you’re still feeling nostalgic of 2004 from the previous videos you can check out Clive’s video.

FishingFury Now on YouTube

I’ve started rending out all of the Fishing Fury videos and posting them on YouTube, fee rating and commenting on YouTube as well. I have more videos going up soon so keep an eye on our youtube page for lots of cool updates, of course I will be posting them here too, but you may spot some surprises before they get posted. You can also subscribe to all of our videos.

This video is from Christmas 2004, we went out to Bass Pro Shops in Vaughn Mills and shot some great footage and stills of their massive freshwater tank. The song is Luna – Renee is Crying, in case you were wondering.

This is the compilation “lookback” video of all our favorite moments in 2004. The song for this one is Man or Astro-Man – Taser Guns Mean Big Fun.

Jack Lake Fishing Report, August 21-22 2004

Here is another one of our older articles, this time it’s one of my favorite Musky reports from 2004. Unfortunately, it was also the weekend that my thumb got a nice gash when a Musky tried to have it for lunch, it was still one of the most beautiful and memorable weekends of 2004.

Enjoy!

Jack Lake, August 21-22 2004

“We were no longer men. We had become something more. We were like gods, fishing from the clouds in search angels…”

Our day started late, we arrived at Jacks lake around one in the afternoon. The sun was bright and shone down with great heat. We layered up with sun block, packed up the canoe and set out on our way. We covered the opposite shore with soft plastic baits in search of lunker bass. We quickly advanced over shallow shorelines covered by weeds and rock. Within a couple hours we had reached the bay we wanted to fish. We decided to stop and prepare some food, allowing the afternoon sun to cool down.

We headed directly to the spot we planned to fish. Prior visits to this location had led us to believe muskie
could be located here. We cut the motor a hundred yards away. A cool breeze drifted us perfectly into position. I tied on a Mepps black fury (Musky Killer) with a black bucktail. Jon did the same. The smell of muskie was in the air.
