More Awesome Fishing Videos

I’ll probably hold off on posting more videos for the next few days, the page seems to be getting cluttered with nothing but videos and I want to put the final polish on the video I have prepared from our 2005 footage in Mexico. I also have a ton of little clips and outtakes that should be hilarious to watch. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like there will be a 2006 video, Clive and I were both off doing our own thing and while it’s hard to put down your rod and film your partner, it’s even harder to film yourself. The good news is that we are planning to head back to Little Vermillion this spring and I have some great surprises along the way.

While you’ll still have to wait for the official Fishing Fury Mexico video you can find us in David Jones’ great Fishermen’s Fleet video.

And if you’re still feeling nostalgic of 2004 from the previous videos you can check out Clive’s video.

Aquarium Appreciation from Anywhere

Aqua World in Japan have setup three live webcams displaying their Shark, ocean Sunfish, Dolphin aquariums. The cameras can apparently swim in the tanks and can be at least partially (zoom & pan) through the internet as well. Go ahead and give the cameras a whirl, requires Java plugin.

Bao Xishun, Worlds Tallest Man and Dolphin Saver

Bao Xishun, 54, is the now confirmed by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s tallest living man. Bao came to the aid of 2 dolphin in a Chinese aquarium, reaching his 41.7-inch arms down the dolphins mouth and removing pieces of plastic the dolphins had nibbled from their tank. Attempts to use surgical instruments failed to remove the plastic, Bao had no problems.

Whale Watching Tour in Boston

Paul sent me these awesome photos from a whale watching tour off the coast of Boston. However, he didn’t take any pictures of whales. Paul, was instead mesmerized by a pod of dolphin. It must have been an amazing trip.

If you’re looking for whales, check out the whale watching pictures and amazing video on my living in La Paz, Mexico blog.

Re: Stormy Kromer Hat Contest!

I'm not much for a pithy comment, but I thought I'd leave a note about how honored I be to wear Kromer on my upcoming annual pheasant hunting trip to South Dakota. I'm sure that my hunting buddies will joke about how silly I look while they wear their stylized broad brim hunting caps, but I'll be laughing on the inside as my head stays nice and warm. I'll be laughing al the more when the stiff South Dakota wind picks up and Kromer is staying put. Finally, with the fall bite on, I know my new Kromer will call the [...]
