Fishing Fury now on YouFish2.com!

That’s right we’ve uploaded some of our awesome videos to YouFish2.com! This also marks the change in music as the previously used songs are copyrighted and we’re trying to move away from that as we get more popular. I’ve managed to replace a few of the videos on Vimeo, however YouTube fails to allow users to re-upload videos. According to YouTube my only option is to delete the video and start again, loosing all my views, comments, ratings, etc.. YA RIGHT!

Well at least moving forward we can do the right thing. The music in these videos was provided by The Total Camble Experience.

I know you’ve probably seen these videos before, but it spent some extra hours up late getting the audio to match perfectly (or as perfectly as possible) with the video. So please, for the sake of all the sleep I lost, watch them!

Giant Grouper Breaks Rod

I’ve managed to break a few rods in my day (more on that another day), but never on a fish. From the size of this grouper, I’m not surprised it shattered this guys rod!

A Young Man and His Fishing Hit List

This young man has knocked a ton of game fish of his laundry list of species. Amazing work, I’d love to hear some of the stories behind those catches!

King Grouper

The goliath grouper is the king of the reef, growing upwards of 1000 pounds. In this photo you can see a school of cigar minnows staying close to its side in an effort to avoid predators.

“I found this goliath grouper, with its massive mouth and swirling mane of silver fish, lurking in a shipwreck off Jupiter, Florida. The cigar minnows are clustering around it to protect themselves from other predators such as trevally, a type of fish.’ Groupers feed mainly on crustaceans such as lobsters. The goliath grouper is the largest reef fish in the Atlantic, up to 2.5 metres long and weighing up to 363 kilogrammes. But its size has not protected it from being fished almost to extinction in the Atlantic. Though the species is now protected under Florida law, large individuals such as this one are still rare.”

More From Georgia Aquarium!

We took 723 photos and 29 minutes of video in just over three hours at Georgia Aquarium last weekend. I’ve edited about 50 of the best images and I’ll be updating our gallery as I edit more pictures. I’m not sure when I’ll get the video done, but I’ll try and make some time! If you ever find yourself anywhere near Atlanta Georgia, you MUST go see this place for yourself.

Buena Suerte

Yesterday I went fishing again with Fishermen’s Fleet I didn’t have a partner so I was randomly setup with another guy who was alone. My partner ended up being Mike, pictured holding the two massive tuna (click the image to enlarge), not the same Mike in the featured article below. Anyway, Mike was only here [...]
