Aquatic Cars From Cuba!

One of the things I loved about visiting Cuba last year were the old American cars. Many were in excellent condition inside and out. I never saw any of these aquatic cars, but I wish I had! Apparently these unique creations were being used to sneak into the United states!

My Vacation In Cuba

I’ve been back from Cuba for a couple weeks now and I have had time to think back on the trip and reflect. I’d like to say it was a fishing trip, but it was actually a late honeymoon. My fishing time was limited to my sons nap times, which are never more then two hours long. The weather was great, the drinks were strong, and the fishing…well, you’ll have to keep reading for that.

Back From Cuba

In case you didn’t figure it out already, I’m back from Cuba! The trip went great, and of course ended way too soon. I didn’t do as much fishing as I would have liked, but I managed to sneak a few hours in during nap times. I’m working on getting a proper report together for anyone else who will be visiting the area.

I’m Going To Cuba!

Finally saved up a little cash for a nice honeymoon with the wife. We got married In July, but figured it would be best to get away in the fall instead of the summer. We’ll be heading south to Varadero at the beginning of November, and I’ll be tacking my fishing rod. I’ve been doing some research on shore fishing in the area, and it looks like it will be a challenge to find some big fish. I’m sure I’ll be able to find some barracuda at the very least, but what I’d really like to catch is another tarpon!

Any of you readers have experience fishing in Cuba?
