So I guess FF is all 100% fishing, 0% hunting??

I'm just starting to get into hunting, and I'm currently looking to buy a used .22lr rifle.

I'm also looking to see if there's any FF members in Ontario with hunting experience.

So... anybody with hunting experience here on FF?

Done some hunting before, but never in Ontario. The wifey is not fond of guns in the house.

Ah really? I took my gf with me to get my gun license and she was pretty enthusiastic about the whole process. We'll probably start with target range practice, and then hopefully small game / birds. I think a lot of people on other forums agree that our better half is cautious about guns, and needs time to get used to it.

Looks likes its only 99% fishing now Araret! I've been thinking of getting my gun license too!

yeah, I too love to to hunt , I also have a wild game camera it is a must for every serious hunter. http://www.thegoodgears.com/Trail-Camera/ these cameras allow you to scout out a hunting area without having to actually be physically present.

Too bad theres no fishing equivalent of a trail camera! I'd live to stick some cameras underwater in a few honey holes I know.

There's probably none commercial, but maybe its possible to do build one? I know that underwater photography is pretty popular, and there's this guy who does remote control photography of pike on the Islands.
