Haha...thats a good question, although if anyone asks me I will tell em, thats because pretty much anywhere you can throw a line in there, you have the chance of catching one of many species of fish. And it changes litterally day to day, so if I say I caught one there, he might not be there tommorrow...so there shouldent be a prob, and some of us can tell by the picture where it was caught. (the luxury of fishing the island alot) So I say sure give it up...I need all the help I can get LOL!!! :good: :good:

I agree 100% with the fact that spots move constantly, and when the islands are on the fish are everywhere. I post a ton of photos when I catch fish and generally give pretty good directions to the area, but if you're asking me for GPS coordinates of a 3 foot radius you're not going to get it. Personally I don't like it when people give me too much information on spots, I enjoy the hunt and figuring out the whole puzzle of the situation. But that's just me.

That's the difference in shore Fishing, there's no cheating like in a boat, going up and down until something appears on the GPS, it's all legwork and crossed fingers! :sarcastic:

I don't mind sharking info, but I don't live near TO, so I don't fish the islands too often. There aren't any secret spots if you are shore fishing, but there are some spots that have produced more fish for me then others. I'd say share what you are comfortable with sharing.

Thanks, wasn't sure what the norm was.
I'm going back this weekend, and I will remember to take a bloody camera with me!!!!
I agree, share as much information as you want to.. But if you post pictures with the background cut out or blurred to oblivion you'll probably not get much fanfare from me..

LOL!
Posting pics with backgrounds blurred? Really????
Anyhoo, Centre Island ferry dock during twilight, very busy (fishwise) from the deep pool at the side of the tire pylons up to where the pool narrows into the shallows to the old bridge.
Took three pike in the last hour before sunset this weekend and two on my previous trip, same time of day.
Im using mepps no.5 aguila with silver blade and 7/8 oz body for distance.
