Hey! :D

My friend and I are planning on going fishing either tomorrow or Friday because the weather is beautiful, and based on what I have read so far Humber River seems to be the best bet, but I have a few questions;

Using google maps I’ve tried a variety of different paths to it via TTC and I can’t seem to find a route, especially to the Humber River Mouth, does anyone know of the best way to get there? We’re traveling from Sheppard Subway Station via TTC.
And from what ive gathered on the forums, the best way to get to the river is by going to Old Mill Station, once we get there, is it possible to just fish around Old Mill? Or am I better off going down to the mouth? Especially at this time?

And finally, what can I expect at this time of the year, my basic understanding is just carp?
Thank you in advance for any help!

Park Lawn and Lakeshore Rd is the nearest intersection - its less then 5 minutes walk from there.

Never took the bus there though...

Depending on what part of the humber youre looking for you can get off at the subway stop Old Mill. The humber is just down the hill around and behind the subway.

Is there a difference in the fishing experience if you compare the Old Mill spot vs the mouth of the river at this time?

More carp at the mouth I'd say.

I've seen guys using floats for trout there.
