They do make some great looking sites, but we are happy with Wordpress - plus Jon does the coding here on the main himself! Cant get much more freedom then that!

Yea, you have to remember that I do this for a living. And paying someone else to do it for me sounds like a waste of money. That said squarespace looks nice, but im not into hosted solutions, I prefer to run everything myself from the server to the software- and all of it open source.

i thought i would just suggest :)
plus they got some like 5~10% off LifeTime codes which can be found easily as they sponsor a lot of podcasts and such.

Perhaps for a side project later, but I'm very happy with wordpress; and we've been running it since 2004 if not earlier. I'm not totally adverse to hosted stuff like this, for example I use tumblr and twitter, but both have their own usage.
