Custom Pontoon Boats..

Just wondering if anyone out there owns a pontoon or did at one time..

Im looking to build a custom pontoon boat.. Eaither buying a old used one, or buying just the pontoons and
building one from scratch.. Have lots of ideas for it, but just wondering if anyone has worked on one and has
any tips? I am customizing it for fishing, but also to work with my Wildlife photography, and for those rainy days, making a couple trap door down the middle so your protected from the elements and can still jig directly below the boat.

Hey MP , I see you are from Colborne, if you come into Belleville and go to Skevys he has a pontoon boat there that you could look at and I think he is still renting it out for the afternoons but I can't be sure on that (haven't been in there in forever) I have fished off a few of them , single man units, they are great on the flats around the shores of the BOQ.

Yeah currently in Mississauga, been here just over 2 years, but moving back to Colborne this weekend, can't wait to get out fishing again back in the area. Only been out once so far this year.. was up in Green Acres on the Severn fishing crappies last monday.

If I build/buy a pontoon I want to build a platform on top to fish from also, would be great for in the flats and such, would probly fish alot of Brighton Bay and BOQ. Probly will borrow a buddies 14' aluminum to get out a bunch this summer.
