Hey guys. I figure I would post up some of what I have been up to.
Our Nova Scotia Spring Smallie Slam went well. We had 17 guys participate. It was a 2day event where the guys catch photo release smallies over measuring sticks and we tally up 3 fish per day. The top two guys had over 90 inches each. Largest smallie was 19.5 inches.

Our next event is in New Brunswick and then there is one in Windsor coming up on the 25th of June. The Border City Classic is likely going to be the largest event on the tour in Windsor/Detroit. We are giving away an Ocean kayak torque and a bunch of other prizes. We have 20 already signed up and I expect another 5 or so. The guys are pretty experienced anglers so I expect bass opener to be half decent for some.

As for me. Im still out in Nova Scotia. I took the summer off from guiding to enjoy a bit of fishing for myself. There arent very big fish in Nova Scotia but Im having fun either way. Here are some pics from lately. I have been fishing from a new Coosa Kayak.

Looks like fun. Trout and bass in the same day is always good.

Nope the trout came from a river float I did in the cornwalis river. The bass was a trip to a reservoir near Wolfville.
The Camo boat is a Coosa kayak. Pretty sweet unit. Easy to stand. Would be great for hunting if that is what you are after.

Hunting? They can't have guns in the UK... ;) I have a pretty mean elastic band and some rolled up bits of paper you know, if you got really really close and pulled the elastic right back, the bit of paper might even leave a tiny red mark on your arm, deadly!
