The knock on effect for fishing on the islands and along the waterfront in general because of the work being done at TTP is going to be awesome!

my opinion is that the trca closed the big bays from the main lake on the west side thus getting rid of the carp...which was a substainable fishery and the carp were plentiful.

now the habitat they are creating will attract schools of small bait fish and as well a place for spawning fish of all types...problem houston....there is a flock of 75000 commarants that reside at Tommy Thompson Park. The commarants eat one pound of fish a day....
the small bait fish become commarant food....any spawned fry become commarant food.
there are several other protected species of birds at Tommy Thompson Park that will join the slaughter.....
we replaced a great situation of plentiful carp with one that will decimate the breed populations of sport fish.

i hope i am wrong....explain to me why i am wrong and i may sleep better.
