The Ironman (last muskie club outing 2014)

The St John River chapter of muskies canada held our Ironman outing in Woodstock, Nb on 4 Oct. It was a slow morning with 4 small muskies caught, but really heated up in the afternoon with 9 more muskies caught and released. 13 muskies is the 2nd best outing the club has ever had since 2008. The Ironman muskie was a fat 42",but unfortunately was not caught by me. I did however catch my 1st muskie in Woodstock, a little 25.5 " pictured below. It was a great day on the water with a great bunch of guys. Our guest from Ottawa (new Pres of Muskies Canada ) and his wife each caught a 40+" muskie. She took 3rd place.Click image for larger version.

Nice to hear some numbers were caught, it was a slow day when I was out there a couple of seasons ago.
