If you could only catch one type of fish for the rest of you life...

    What would it be?

Although there are lots of species I've never caught, If I could only catch one, It would have to be tarpon.

No fish has ever been such a challenge (and such fun) for me to catch.

I'd be happy catching South American Peacock Bass (although they're technically Cichlids and not even one of the Bass family!)...They look fantastic :victory:

    Wow, what a good question..

Not considering fish I have never caught I'm looking for the full package, the hunt- the fight- the feast, I would have to pick northern pike or yellow fin tuna.
Yes, Ed F took my avatar photo.

I guess I'd stick with Muskies.
Largies would be a close second....

Pike followed closely by more Pike. :diablo: But there is no way I'd want to stop the jig action on delicious Walleye in between.

I don't believe anything i have caught has gotten my heart racing more than those big pike! especially on top water plugs. although i had planned a trip to the amazon awhile back to go peacock bass fishing (they are so explosive)unfortunatley the trip was cancelled. laketrout and smallmouth bass give a great fight, but still my first 43" sprtsmans lodge pike had my heart racing for an hour! so it's gotta be the pike.

I would hafta say, I am hooked on the Pike right now, so we will go with that, but I am sure it would change depending on the time of year you ask! LOL!!
