all canada show chicago
if you guys have never been to an all canada show. you should go at least once. they have a bunch of extraordinary outfitters, radio and tv representatives and usually at least one tv personallity there. ken and i just went this last weekend and i got a chance to meet Babe Winkleman. what a great guy! we also scoped out some great new places for our future fishing trips. plus if you go don't miss out on the shore lunch. thanks ken for the invite it was a nice day trip.

I agree, a very good place to talk fishing with people who have been doing it for a long time. Also if you think you are going for sure, a good place to work out a better deal with an outfitter. Its not just the top end places either, you can have outfits that range in price from $500.00/week to $6,500.00/week, all depending how far you fly or if you fly at all-also is they cater you or not.
Gary and I have gone 2 years in a row now. We booked last year for our trip to Manitoba at Dunlops Lodge for this August and we saw some good places this weekend we are thinking to take the kids in the next couple years also.

I don't get it. I've never heard of an all canada show, and I was born and raised in chicago. Also I'm pretty sure Babe Winkleman is american... Born in Minnesota no?

Re: all canada show chicago
All Canada Show is a show put on by the Canadian Fishing and Hunting lodge owners to promote trips to their place. Besides some DNR/Local booths the rest are Lodge owners/managers that are selling their fishing/hunting package to the public. They only have about 10-12 shows a year, and they are mostly in towns close to the Canadian border-alot in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Lodge owners are from most providences in Canada, but most are from Ontario and Manitoba.
Babe W is american and from Minnesota, but he is a huge advocate for fishing in Ontario where most of his shows are filmed from.

This Long Weekend, I had the chance to get up to Britt, Ontario. It`s up past Parry Sound - just south of the French River. My Brother In Law`s brother owns a beautiful piece of Property there....
