Recommend a HD camcorder?

Hello,

Looking for a HD camcorder. Something small, like pocket size or something like that which can do 720p minimum. Being able to 60fps would be great too.

Not sure what to get actually, maybe I should just get one of those Digital Camera that may have a good HD recording feature.?

I've got a Sanyo WH1 - shoots 720p 30fps, or 640x480 and 60fps.
Its a solid little camera, by no means the best out there, but it does shoot underwater, which makes it great for any fisherman or outdoorsman.

Check out the Go Pro Hero, it's waterproof and will shoot 720p at 60fps. I'm starting to wish I got one instead of my sanyo..

I think I'm going to get this camera. Any reason to pay the extra $100 to get the newest version?

Which too models are you looking at? I don't think they updated the WH1 (afaik).

There is another model that is much smaller and handheld vertically vs horizontally. That one probably costs more due to form factor, and it's still waterproof.

I looked at WH1 again on Amazon and it was down to $159 so just went for it. They only had yellow and baby blue so I decided that yellow was a "sporty" color that will match the kayak I plan on getting.
