On the photo, you can see impacts of bombs.

What sort of fish do you catch there?
We could catch "Sea Bass" as on all Normandy coast.

During the Normandy landings a lot of boats sank, there are many wrecks in the wide who protect fishes, that's why there are numerous and big fishes in Normandy.

I can only agree with you Nico

I feel ashamed i don't have anything stupid to say on this topic... but I'm a bit shocked you gave one of our most beautiful fishing spot

For me that's one of the most amazing place on the world and if you have any opportunity to come in Normandy just drop us an email this place is fantastic

I might be a little uncomfortable fishing there but my grandfather made it ashore so figure it would only be fitting. Plus I'd love to catch a European sea bass since I spend so much time fishing for our version the Striped Bass.

I have family that have shed blood in France and i love the country, and don't worry about giving your favourite Fishing spots away Pierre, they are not a stones throw away like me, they are on the other side of the World (unless you can Google Earth Fish, which would be cool!) P.s Nico, your English is better than my French! Au revoir.

I dont think my grandfather stormed normandy, though im pretty sure he was heavily involved in fighting the japanese. He had a large cache of japanese war gear, flags, uniforms, guns, etc.

Both my great grandfathers were at the opening battles of the Somme in 1916, the biggest massacre for the British army in history and i've been a few times to revisit the trenches etc, These shells were the last items i bought back with me, two 18 pounders and a 60 pounder!
