The islands - Beer while you fish???
Im planning on fishing the islands quite a bit the next little while. A thing that goes hand in hand with shore fishing for me is a couple tall boys. How is it at the islands? I know most coppers leave you alone in toronto as long as your not causing trouble. Any one else have any problems while sippin a few cold ones while fishing? Its not going to deter me either way lol just wondering.
cheers!
Oh and to you other lads sippin cold ones, pick up your f'ing garbage please!!!! I fished cobourg creek and the ganaraska last week and was appalled at the random garbage.

As with most things if you're doing something illegal, causing trouble, or otherwise being a belligerent ass, nobody cares what you do. In fact you can buy beer at the restaurant on center island, but I dont think you can walk out the door with your beer.

I don't know about the islands but in my area, as long as you aren't causing trouble and also take the trouble to not be completely obvious (ie use a cup or something) you won't have any problem. I think this is true in most areas unless there has been a consistent problem and the cops are trying to clean up the area.
PS I completely agree with your last statement. If you can carry it in full, why is it so hard to carry it out empty? This is just as true for bait containers as it is for beer cans.
