Bass fishing around Toronto Islands
Hi everyone. I am new to this forum and I would love to hear if anyone has experience Largmouth Bass fishing around the Toronto Islands. I have a fishing Kayak and I went out last week and got nothing after 5 hours!!
Is anyone able to help.
Interested in heading out there?

Wow 5 hours and no fish sounds discouraging

Sorry I can not offer help because I don't know too much about fishing, but I hope someone more knowledgable will chime in.

Also, should one use leaders if they are using braided lines when fishing at Toronto Island?

You dont have to use a leader, though it's probably a good idea for pike. For bass you might also want to use one just so that the line isnt visible right to the bait. Some flourocarbon should be fine, probalby 20# for bass and 30-40# for pike.
