Hello Gentlemen
Hey Guys,
So some of you might know me slightly from a few of my posts asking questions. I have been fishing since I was 4 years old. My father taught me to tie knots, rig up my own bait and start from a young age.
Over the years we got out less and less. Got big into Ice fishing 2 years ago and have had some huge success with Lake Simcoe. However, I have lived in Toronto my whole life and now realized I have missed out on some awesome fishing.
Grenider Pond, sure I fished there as a small kid once and dont remember catching anything.
Well, actually thanks to this forum I have started fishing Toronto. Had success in high Park this summer with a nice bass and ugly carp.
I will test my luck tomorrrow bearing the winds for Pike and Salmon.
Rigged up the rods for both. will be on my roller blades to get around and will likely be darting across the Marathon.
Plan on hitting the Island's after Ice Out. JWM, you seem to know the island and have great advice. you love to fish with you some time.
Wish me luck guys!!!!
I'll leave you off with this joke. Gave me a good laugh.
A young man and an old man were fishing on a pier. The young man started telling the old one that the night before he caught a trout that was over 3 1/2 foot long.
The old man replied "Oh yea, well I was here 2 nights ago and I hooked something huge. After a 30 minute fight I finaly got it up and it was an old lantern and the thing was still lit."
The young man said "Your lying. I can't believe that."
Then the old man said "I'll tell you what, you knock a couple of foot off your trout and I'll blow out my lantern."
"Liar Liar"
