I dont think there are any signs that say "no fishing" - but the locals don't like people casting near their boats. May as well try until some ones asks you to leave!
PS. make sure you aren't targeting bass as season doesn't open until June!

Re: Toronto Islands, Week of May 2nd
Ohh, it will be 1 oz bassjigs with Kalins "Mogambo" grubs on back. Would have to be a REAALLLLY big bass to wanna hit that thing.
Whole rig is close to 6 inches long
Im also wanting to throw glidin raps along breakwalls and such. Looks fun.
Thanks

All Marina`s are Private...we are gonna try and sneek in in the beginning of may when there arn`t many boats in yet, but am sure will be promtly asked to leave...we will see. But if you are on a boat, you can certainly throw in there, I see it all the time.

Re: Toronto Islands, Week of May 2nd
We used to hop the fence to fish the "Private" area. As long as you are not disturbing the peace you'll be fine. We had a couple guys we'd see each time and they shared their beer with us - but you will come across the odd person who will want you to leave immediately. Make sure you don't leave any mess behind, ore even better, keep a plastic bag and pick p garbage near the shore and they'll love you!
I may have to try one of those jigs Sike, sounds like t could be deadly for inactive pike!
