Winter Steelhead Fishing Fury Adventure - November 18-20

Jon do you need anything Im going to try and get out this week and get a fuck load of roe and terminal tackle

Wow all this precipitation we are getting is going to make this weekends steelheading amazing!!

Looks like this is a go! We will be making the hotel reservation tomorrow. Looks like we will be steelheading all weekend long, haven't done this in a while

I will be posting a location and time for people who want to meet up Saturday morning and then again Sunday morning.

I have to take my girlfriend in for some minor surgery on thursday and I had some unexpected expenses come up this month so I can't do the hotel both nights, but hopefully I can still go. I won't know until I see what condition my gf is in after her surgery and if I can figure out my finances for the rest of the month.

It's fine we can still leave early Saturday morning and just stay over Saturday night, still the same amount of fishing

Any luck finding some roe?

No, I haven't had time yet to go out and find any. We have about 2 dozen bags right now. I think that should support us for Saturday morning, once we finish up the tackle shops should be open and we can pick up some more. I'll try and get some though.

Man, I left some of the roe from last trip in my fishing bag. I totally forgot about it for about a week. Now I can't stop thinking about how nasty they smelled.

I'll tie us a wack of sacks from my private reserve eggs if I make it out on Saturday morning...And I am planning on making it!

I've also tied a wack of maribou micro jigs that I'm looking forward to trying.

Jigs should produce if we are presented with the right conditions. If it is as clear as last time we went they probably won't do to well but if we get a lot less visibility and some more flow the jigs should do well.


Can't wait to hit the water again!
