i am still compiling data and analyzing what went forward at city hall today....but what i do know is this
Councillor Paula Fletcher
Councillor Adam Vaughan
Walter Oster Chairman CEO Canadian Sportsmen's Shows
Toronto Port Authority and its Honourable Management and Directors
Wil Wegman and the MNR
were the heavy hitters for us in the last few days.....above and beyond their jobs......Thankyou!
i never ever want to go up against Walter Oster.... i heard from city and provincial governments he was a tiger fighting for us today....if he called your office today your having nightmares tonight....Thankyou and sorry for the crazy phone calls to your office from me today...i was beyond desperate...

i have found out that many of the managers of Parks and Recreation for the City of Toronto had no idea about the signs that went up....they were just as angry and confused and frustrated as you and i....thats why it took them time to respond to our complaints as they had no idea what the hell was going on....

Way to go guys!!!!
So pissed that I couldn't stay in T.O for this meeting, but it does sound like there are some big hitters on our side. I will confess I did take over our call centre for an hour last week and had everyone calling the parks managers, who had no idea where or why the signs were up, and why they were the ones getting outraged calls.....
I figured some internal friction at city hall might help.
So, is there a clear map of fishing and no fishing areas now, or soon?
* I'm back in town next week and I would really like to meet up with you guys down the pub!!My fishing blog - www.fishontoronto.com
