Toronto Islands Pike Opener

Who's gonna be on the islands this weekend? I will be out on saturday in the afternoon with member Ed F on his fancy boat. If my fly rod gets here in time I might also try using that, after I catch my first pike of the year of course!

either walking the islands, or renting a boat to hunt crappie on Rice Lake (with a stop at Frenchman's Bay to see if the pike are around if we make it out to Rice).
Still undecided.

I thought Pike opener wasn't until the weekend of the 12th...?

*EDIT Nevermind, I was thinking about Tommy Thompson which is zone 16, not the islands which are zone 20. I was planning on spending the day on the islands on Sunday, going after some Carp, but maybe I should bust out the spinners instead!
